Qualifications

• Five years of automation controls engineering experience.
• Five years of automation systems experience including motors, drives, servo systems, PLCs, wiring, and PC interfaces.
• Degree in an applied science field or equivalent experience and training certification.
• Strong MS Office skills (Project, PowerPoint, Visio).
• Experience converting customer requirements into engineering specs; project scheduling and milestone commitment; document processes; hands-on equipment troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Designs, analyzes, modifies, and maintains test equipment automation and control systems.
• Develop equipment engineering budgets.
• Deploy and debug automation controls hardware and software.
• Develops documentation including system requirements, specs, configurations, and manuals.
• Provide sustaining engineering support for equipment; supervise construction of automated test equipment.
• Manage contractor resources and project milestones; communicate status to leadership.
