Job summary

ONEOK is seeking a Control Systems Specialist/Engineer to develop and support PLC and HMI programs for new facilities and ongoing operations. You will work under limited supervision, apply advanced methods, and provide troubleshooting across OT/ICS environments.

This safety-sensitive role requires DOT/PHMSA awareness, on-call rotation, and up to 30% travel. You will contribute to cybersecurity, training, and project lifecycle processes within the Controls Technology group.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of PLC and HMI platforms.
• Knowledge of OT/ICS environments, software management, and industrial protocols.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and oral.
• Ability to work under time pressure with deadlines.
• Ability to analyze information and identify solutions from alternatives.

Responsibilities

• Designs and develops PLC/HMI solutions for new and maintenance projects.
• Provide automation solution estimates to project managers and engineers.
• Oversee projects following Project Life Cycle and OMS objectives.
• Develop and present training for Operations on new equipment.
• Provide Tier 2 support for OT/ICS control systems and network/wireless systems.
