Job summary

Delkor Systems, Inc. is seeking a Controls Engineer to design, implement, and optimize machine and robotics programs for packaging equipment.

You will support technicians, troubleshoot field issues, and document engineering processes to share knowledge across teams. Qualifications include a four-year degree in Electrical Engineering or a suitable two-year degree with experience, plus familiarity with motion control and AB PLC systems.

Qualifications

Four-year degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field) or two-year degree with 3 years related experience.
Familiarity with motion control, servo controls, HMI, and packaging equipment.
AB PLC experience preferred.
Fanuc Robot experience preferred.
AutoCAD Electrical experience preferred.
3D modeling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Create, modify and maintain programs for machines, robotics, 3rd party integration, and complete systems.
Assist Checkout Technicians with factory testing
Create documentation to share knowledge with other Controls Engineers and technicians
Review and troubleshoot customer field issues and recommend viable solutions
Work on projects to improve speed, capacity, reliability, functionality, and ease of operation
Assist Service Department in troubleshooting machines on-site or via telephone
Ensure programs follow standardized format and notation for readability
Perform other tasks as assigned
