Austin Allen Company - Professional Recruitment is seeking an Automation Controls Engineer for a Midwest-based food manufacturing role. Salary up to $130,000 with bonus and paid relocation.

You will develop and manage engineering plans, supervise capital projects, and support day-to-day technical services of the facility. Required are extensive experience in electrical design, control networks, and Rockwell PLC/HMI programming, plus 5+ years in the food industry or 10+ years if no degree.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Electrical Design, Control Networks, and Rockwell PLC/HMI programming.
• With a bachelor’s degree, at least 5 years in Electrical Design, Control Networks, and Rockwell PLC/HMI Programming.
• At least 5 years in the food industry as an Automation Control Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the implementation of engineering plans and projects for the plant.
• Oversee capital projects and manage the budget.
• Supervise and support day-to-day technical services of the facility.
• Manage, maintain and improve the facility automation, instrumentation and electrical systems.
• Experience with control network design and maintenance plans including OT infrastructure such as network, server, security management, server and network switch configuration.
