Job summary

Trilliant Food & Nutrition is seeking a Controls Engineer to manage and support controls/automation projects, upgrade existing systems, and develop maintenance procedures. The role offers a 2-2-3 schedule at our Little Chute, WI facility with opportunities for line/start-up involvement.

The ideal candidate has a BS in Electrical Engineering or CS, 2–5 years of experience with industrial controls, and strong skills in PLC, HMI, Allen-Bradley, Python, VB.NET, and SQL.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science preferred.
• 2-5 years' experience with industrial machine controls.
• Able to write and troubleshoot PLC code (primarily Allen Bradley).
• Create, modify, and deploy HMI interfaces (PanelView ME/SE).
• Experience with Python, VB.net and SQL.
• Knowledge of ethernet networks and electrical schematics.
• Strong troubleshooting and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction and support for PLC ladder logic programming and HMI application programming.
• Write/modify PLC programs to control industrial food processing equipment.
• Support operations and maintenance to maximize efficiency.
• Develop standards and procedures for controls projects.
• Mentor other engineers, maintenance, and operations personnel.
• On-floor supervision of contractors and OEM technicians.
