What you will be doing
- Support and maintain industrial control, automation, instrumentation, and electronic systems across multiple manufacturing facilities.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, electronic, instrumentation, networking, and control system issues.
- Support PLC, HMI, SCADA, DCS, and related automation platforms.
- Configure, maintain, and optimize field devices including sensors, transmitters, analyzers, actuators, and control panels.
- Support industrial communication networks and connected manufacturing technologies.
- Develop and maintain control philosophies, loop drawings, control narratives, system documentation, and automation configurations.
- Support historian systems, data integrity, backups, and digitalization initiatives.
- Participate in root cause investigations and reliability improvement activities.
- Provide technical support to production, maintenance, engineering, projects, and operational teams.
- Lead or support Management of Change (MOC) activities involving automation, instrumentation, and control systems.
- Collaborate with site and project teams to identify automation, reliability, and operational improvement opportunities.
- Support functional safety and process control programs as required.
- Partner with global technical experts to share best practices and advance automation capabilities across the business.
What We’re Looking For
Required
- 3+ years of experience supporting industrial automation, controls, instrumentation, industrial electronics, electrical systems, or related manufacturing technologies.
- Experience with one or more of the following:
- PLC systems
- HMI/SCADA platforms
- DCS platforms
- Industrial instrumentation
- Electronic control systems
- Industrial networking technologies
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a manufacturing, industrial, or process environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and operational stakeholders.
- Diploma, Associate Degree, Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent technical qualification in:
- Electrical Engineering Technology
- Electronics Engineering Technology
- Mechatronics
- Automation Engineering Technology
- Electrical Engineering
- Electronics Engineering
- Instrumentation & Control Engineering
Comparable technical disciplines.
Preferred
- Experience with platforms such as:
- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols including Ethernet/IP, Modbus, Profibus, DeviceNet, or similar technologies.
- Experience with VFDs, motor controls, sensors, analyzers, and industrial electronics.
- Experience supporting manufacturing, chemical, mining, energy, industrial process, or heavy industrial operations.
- Knowledge of functional safety, SIS lifecycle management, SIL verification, and process control systems.
- Understanding of engineering standards and Management of Change processes.
- Individual contributor with no direct reports
- Must be open to reporting to the Centennial office at least three days a week
- Ability to travel up to 50% throughout the US and Canada

Compensation Range
- $89,700 - $110,000 USD per year
- Eligible for annual short-term incentive plan
(Salary to be determined by the applicant’s experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.)
