Thermo Systems LLC. is looking for a Control Systems Project Engineer I to support the design and delivery of automation projects in the Energy, Life Sciences, and Mission Critical markets. This full-time role is based in New Jersey, with a salary ranging from $90,000 to $120,000 a year, plus eligibility for annual bonuses.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field and typically 4+ years of experience. The position involves leading project tasks and engineering responsibilities in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline.
• Typically has 4+ years of experience in industrial automation, controls engineering, or system integration environments.
• Demonstrated experience leading engineering tasks or small project scopes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support start-up and commissioning of control systems.
• Lead and perform Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) for automation systems.
• Develop and implement HMI and PLC‑based automation solutions.
