Job summary

The Electrical Engineer will maintain, design and install electrical control systems and machinery in the Chester, SC manufacturing facility, driving reliability and uptime. Requires five or more years of experience in project management and engineering, with hands-on experience in PLC (Rockwell preferred), HMI/SCADA/DCS, and VFD drives.

Must be able to manage budgets, schedules, and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.
• Minimum 5 years of related work experience.
• Manufacturing environment experience preferred.
• Experience with PLC (Rockwell preferred), HMI, SCADA, DCS, VFD drives.
• Lean manufacturing/Six Sigma experience preferred.
• Strong project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Modify existing equipment per production or service requests.
• Manage contractors and service technicians; coordinate with plant management to improve equipment.
• Design and install new equipment to meet plant objectives.
• Manage budgets and schedules for multiple projects.
• Provide technical support for capital projects and process evaluation.
