Job summary

Viking Corporation is seeking a capable manufacturing team member to support the cell operations. The role involves fault diagnosis on HMI displays, coordinating with Maintenance Technicians, and assisting the assembly cell while maintaining safety and quality standards.

You will also perform tooling changes, handle materials, operate a forklift occasionally, and ensure QA and production planning documents are accurately completed.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required; or 1–3 years of related experience.
  • Experience in a manufacturing cell or similar setting preferred.
  • Ability to read instructions and work with basic equipment safely.

Responsibilities

  • Review faults on HMI screens and follow steps for fault recovery.
  • Communicates with Maintenance Technicians about equipment issues.
  • Rotates through the assembly cell, assisting each member as needed.
  • Performs cell maintenance to optimize production.
  • Changes tooling using hand tools and setups for part runs.
  • Handles materials for the cell, including occasional forklift operation.
  • Tests sprinklers according to guidelines; inspects and packages to standards.
  • Completes QA and production planning documents.
  • Disassembles sprinklers for salvage; records inventory movements.
  • Cleans and maintains the cell daily; lifts up to 40 lbs occasionally.
