Job summary

The Cell Operator 1 position at C&S Wholesale Grocers, LLC in Windsor Locks, CT supports the daily operation of our automated material handling system, loading and monitoring robotic cells, and responding to alarms to sustain throughput.

This role focuses on outbound, MIB, and inbound operations, with training provided, shift from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM, and a starting wage of $23.50 per hour. Full benefits are available from day one, including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Comfortable with computers and HMIs.
• Ability to maximize uptime and throughput on automated cells.

Responsibilities

• Operate automated cells in outbound and MIB to meet hourly rate and throughput goals.
• Perform pre- and post-shift CIM checks and replenish supplies.
• Use HMI to execute commands and respond to alarms.
• Assist with robot adjustments and report issues to maintenance.
• Communicate clearly with Control Center and flex into other flows as needed.
