Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an Automation Build Engineer, Development (Starlink) to lead large-scale projects and optimize fabrication and integration processes in our development operations. You will coordinate across automation, supply chain, and production to ensure milestones are met and to drive process improvements.

You will own tooling design, documentation, and handoffs to production, with a focus on manufacturability and reliability in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• 2+ years in design, manufacturing, or production of mechanical/electrical hardware.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison between automation, supply chain, production and development operations to meet milestones.
• Ideate and implement new manufacturing processes to increase throughput and safety.
• Manage build, configuration and instillation of modular automation assets from raw material to handoff.
• Prepare engineering documentation for transition from development to production including BOMs.
