Job summary

Lincoln Electric, based in Ohio, seeks an experienced Truck Upfitter/ Equipment Installer to deliver custom work truck builds, including Mobile Power Systems, lighting, graphics, and other equipment.

The role requires hands-on mechanical and electrical assembly, ability to read prints, and lift capacity up to 60 pounds; previous experience in vehicle upfitting is a plus. Strong teamwork and safety focus are essential.

Qualifications

• Level II: 2+ years related experience in manufacturing, assembly, or electromechanical work.
• Level III: 3+ years related experience in manufacturing, assembly, or electromechanical work.
• Must read and interpret prints, electrical schematics and work orders.
• Must lift up to 60 pounds; operate cranes and fork trucks safely.
• Experience in automotive repair or vehicle upfitting is a plus.

• Youwill install various types of truck bodies, Mobile Power Systems®, lighting packages, graphics, and other equipment to complete new custom builds for the work truck industry.
• You will work alongside some of the best in the business and will drive business growth.

Education & Experience Required

• Level II: High school diploma or GED required. Vocational training preferred. Candidates without vocational training must possess relevant manufacturing, assembly, or electromechanical experience demonstrating the skills needed to perform work. Minimum 2+ years of related experience required.
• Level III: High school diploma or GED required. Vocational training preferred. Candidates without vocational training must possess relevant manufacturing, assembly, or electromechanical experience demonstrating the skills needed to perform work. Minimum 3+ years of related experience required.
• Experience in automotive repair or vehicle upfitting is a plus.
• Must be able to read and interpret prints, electrical schematics and work orders
• Must be able to perform good mechanical and electrical assembly including troubleshooting any related issues.
• Must understand the use of all production equipment.
• Must be familiar and understand all procedures and specifications relating to assembly, testing. This includes Process Control, Inspection and Testing, Inspection and Test Status,
• Must have the ability to lift up to 60 pounds; bend and lift containers.
• Must have the ability to operate cranes and fork trucks safely and responsibly.
• Must have the ability to properly adjust Volts/WFS, and weld with a MIG welder.
