Job summary

Custom Business Solutions, Inc. is seeking an Automation Architect to design and modernize the enterprise automation framework for the State's health eligibility system.

You will lead automation architecture, coding standards, and best practices within the DevOps team while collaborating with developers, analysts, and QA to define scalable automation strategies. You will design and maintain functional, system integration, API, and regression automation suites, integrate testing into CI/CD

Qualifications

• Seven (7) years of experience designing, developing, and executing automated test solutions for large-scale enterprise applications.
• Five (5) years of experience developing automation frameworks using Java and Selenium or comparable technologies.
• Five (5) years designing or enhancing automation frameworks using OO design and reusable architecture.
• Three (3) years integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins.
• Five (5) years writing SQL queries and performing database validation for automated testing.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and modernize the enterprise automation framework for statewide systems.
• Provide technical leadership for automation architecture and coding standards within DevOps.
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, and QA to define automation strategies and reusable assets.
• Design, execute, and maintain functional, system integration, API, and regression automation suites.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and support automated execution across SDLC.
• Mentor automation engineers through code reviews and coaching.
• Develop SQL queries and perform database validation for testing.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute automation leadership.
• Research and recommend new tools and framework enhancements for quality and maintainability.
