Job summary

The Vincit Group is seeking an Applications Engineer to evaluate customer plant problems and translate them into turnkey automation solutions using SolidWorks and AutoCAD. You will develop a 3D model, budget, and quotation for client approval.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years designing automation machinery, a bachelor’s in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering, and strong communication. ERP experience and familiarity with Allen-Bradley controls are a plus.

Qualifications

• 6+ years designing automation machinery and equipment.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks and AutoCAD required.
• Experience with ERP systems a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities with sales and customers to develop solutions.
• Create quotes and budgets for turnkey automation projects.
• Prepare 3D models and technical drawings for client presentation.
• Collaborate with contractors and suppliers for installation estimates.
