The Automation and Embedded System Engineer role is a full-time, hybrid position responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining control and automation solutions for powered air compressors, fluid pumps, and power systems. Day-to-day tasks include developing and programming embedded control systems, configuring and optimizing PLCs, and integrating sensors, actuators, and communication interfaces.
You will analyze system performance, diagnose and resolve issues, and implement improvements to enhance reliability, efficiency, and safety in remote operations. The role also includes collaborating with cross-functional teams to define requirements, preparing technical documentation, supporting field deployment and commissioning, and providing remote troubleshooting and guidance for operations personnel.
Location: Hybrid; regular onsite time on location for builds, testing, and field support. Candidate must be based in CO or WY.
