Job summary

Teachers of Tomorrow is seeking an Automation & Applied AI Engineer to build and optimize automation workflows and AI-driven integrations across CRM, marketing, and internal systems. You will implement conversational AI, enable function calling, and ensure reliable JSON-based communications with REST APIs.

You will collaborate with IT leadership to translate requirements into practical automation solutions, maintain MCP or similar middleware, and contribute to cross-functional initiatives as the

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of experience in automation, systems integration, or process improvement.
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Power Platform and/or Azure Logic Apps.
• Experience working with REST APIs and JSON.
• Exposure to LLM-based systems (Azure AI Factory, OpenAI, or similar).
• Experience implementing function calling or tool-based AI integrations.
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Workflow & Process Automation: Build and maintain automation workflows using tools similar to Microsoft Power Platform/Azure Logic Apps.
• Improve and refactor existing workflows for reliability and maintainability.
• Troubleshoot automation issues in production environments.
• Ensure proper error handling and logging within automated processes.
