Job description

LokTek Automatics, a division of Bunting Door & Hardware Co., is hiring for an Automatic Operator Installation Technician.

While experience is preferred, we will train the right candidate. This is a career opportunity for individuals interested in embracing and enhancing the technology of automated door opening systems.

Responsibilities:

• Install and service automatic door openings for customers in the Baltimore, Washington, and Northern Virginia area.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to handle basic hand and power tools.
• Familiarity with construction procedures.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening.
• Teamwork and good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to listen, understand, and follow directions.
• Valid driver’s license.

Education and Experience:

• Experience with installation of automatic swinging, sliding, folding, and/or revolving doors, or other commercial doors is preferred. We will train the right candidate.
• Manufacturer-specific certifications are a plus.
• Individuals with carpentry, electrical, or wiring experience are encouraged to apply.
• AAADM certification is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged standing and walking.
• Ability to lift up to 90 pounds.
• Manual dexterity to operate machinery and equipment.
