Senior Flexonics Inc. (Bartlett) is seeking a Machine Operator to load, operate and unload automated machinery used in producing automotive and other parts. You will ensure safety, quality and production standards while working on a fast-paced production line.

The role requires attention to detail, basic English, and the ability to read work instructions. Training is available, and pay includes a base hourly rate with a second shift premium where applicable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic proficiency in English and basic math/reading comprehension.
• 1+ years of experience operating automated machinery preferred; training available.

Responsibilities

• Operate automated machines in compliance with safety, quality, and production standards.
• Load and unload materials, monitor for machine jams or malfunctions.
• Visually inspect parts for quality and conformance to specifications.
• Record production and quality data in logs or systems accurately.
• Clean and maintain machinery according to maintenance guidelines.
• Note: this position does not involve machine setup.

Job Description

Machine Operators are responsible for loading, operating, and unloading automated machinery used in the production of parts for the automotive, medical, and other key industries. Machine operators are responsible for operating the automatic machinery efficiently, ensuringsafety, quality, and production standards.

KEY RESULTS AREAS

Safety/5S/Housekeeping

• Adhere strictly to all safety policies, protocols, and work standards

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times
• Report any safety concerns or incidents immediately to a supervisor

Quality

• Follow all quality protocols, policies, and standards of work
• Perform inspections using basic measuring tools
• Report any quality concerns promptly
• Work from work instructions, work orders, and routings.

Machine Operation

• Operate automated machines in compliance with safety, quality, and production standards
• Load and unload materials, monitor for machine jams or malfunctions
• Visually inspect parts for quality and conformance to specifications
• Record production and quality data accurately in logs, production boards, or systems
• Clean and maintain machinery according to maintenance guidelines
• Alert supervisors to material or equipment issues.
• Prepare time and production records
• Note: This position does not involve machine setup

Qualifications

EDUCATION

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• Basic proficiency in English
• Basic math and reading comprehension skills

EXPERIENCE

• 1 plusyears of experience operating automated machinery in a manufacturing setting preferred
• We willto train candidates without prior manufacturing experience
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and measuring/inspection equipment

Additional Information

This position is part of the bargaining unit and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.

Base Hourly Pay: $20.58/hr;2nd shift premium as applicable: $1.00/hr
