Piedmont Door Solutions in Greensboro, NC seeks an Automatic Door Repair and Install Technician to repair, maintain, and install doors on location in commercial buildings, hospitals, stores, and more.

Candidates should have a background in residential or commercial doors, power tools, hand tools, and be prepared for background checks and drug screening; Piedmont provides training, tools, and vehicles.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with automatic doors or similar systems; comfort with carpentry, electrical work or skilled trades appreciated.
• Ability to stand, bend and climb for long periods; lift 75+ pounds; work at heights with a ladder.
• Background check and drug screen required; flu and other vaccinations may be required.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain doors, turnstiles, revolving doors, and related entrance products.
• Proactively assist on projects and work with autonomy in a high-expectation environment.
• Learn techniques from trainer and grow existing skills.
• Keep a clean, organized, and professional worksite; solve customer problems.
• Order and track parts, materials, and time spent on services with office staff.
