Job summary

Piedmont Door Solutions, a leader in pedestrian door and entrance solutions, seeks an Automatic Door Repair and Install Technician for our Houston, TX branch. You will repair, maintain, and install doors in commercial settings, hospitals, and stores, with training provided.

The role requires use of power and hand tools, physical work including lifting, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. You will coordinate with office staff for parts and scheduling.

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate power and hand tools safely.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Must have unrestricted driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to stand, bend, climb, and work in non-climate-controlled environments for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain doors, turnstiles, revolving doors, and other entrance or security products.
• Proactively assist on projects and demonstrate autonomy in a high-expectation environment.
• Learn techniques from trainer and apply new skills on the job.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional worksite and address customer issues.
