Job summary

Lane Valente Industries is seeking an experienced Automatic Door Service Technician to service a range of automatic and manual doors, closers, and hardware across commercial sites. AAADM certification is a plus, with emphasis on safe, efficient repairs and proactive maintenance.

The ideal candidate will bring at least 2 years of hands-on experience with automatic doors, storefronts, and related hardware, and will demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude along with a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Proficient knowledge of servicing various doors, equipment and control devices.
• Minimum 2 years' experience as automatic door installer or service technician.
• AAADM certification is a plus.
• Carpentry for partition framing with metal/wood studs; installation of doors/windows.
• Experience with commercial doors, hardware, storefronts, door closers, emergency devices and maintenance.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Clean driving record required for company vehicles.
• Positive and professional attitude.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work under time constraints.
• Ability to work in a team or independently.
• Attention to detail and adherence to processes.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Adaptability in fast-paced environments.
• Experience with Horton, Stanley, Record USA, Besam, or Assa Abloy is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and replacements of ADA operators, manual and swing doors, door closers, pivot assemblies, panic hardware, hollow metal, storefront, and automatic folding, swing, and sliding doors.
• Service a variety of doors, equipment, and control devices.
• Utilize carpentry skills for partition framing with metal/wood studs and the installation of doors and windows.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and handle commercial doors, automatic doors, door hardware, storefront doors, door closers, and emergency exit devices.
• Manage multiple projects and work well under time and other constraints.
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working in a team environment as well as independently.
• Ensure strong attention to detail and adherence to processes.
• Provide excellent service orientation to customers.
• Thrive in a highly fast-paced environment.

CURRENT OPPORTUNITY: Automatic Door Service Technician

Experienced technician for service of automatic doors. AAADM certified preferred. Ability to perform repairs/replacements of ADA operators, manual and swing doors, door closers, pivot assemblies, panic hardware, hollow metal, storefront and automatic folding, swing, sliding doors.

PROFICIENT KNOWLEDGE:

• Service of a variety of doors, equipment, and control devices
