Job summary

Lane Valente Industries is seeking an experienced Automatic Door Service Technician to service and repair ADA operators, manual and swing doors, door closers, and related hardware across commercial settings.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of automatic door installation or service experience, with AAADM certification a plus, and strong carpentry/diagnostic skills. A clean driving record and team-focused attitude are required to succeed in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as an automatic door installer or service technician.
• AAADM certification is a plus.
• Carpentry/partition framing with metal or wood studs; installation of doors and windows.
• Experience with commercial doors, hardware, storefront doors, door closers, and emergency exit devices.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and replacements of ADA operators, manual and swing doors, door closers, pivot assemblies, panic hardware, hollow metal, storefront and automatic folding/sliding doors.
• Service a variety of doors, equipment, and control devices.
• Utilize carpentry skills for partition framing and door/window installation.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on commercial doors and hardware.
• Manage multiple projects and work under time constraints.
• Maintain a positive, professional attitude in team settings or independently.
• Adhere to processes and ensure customer satisfaction.

CURRENT OPPORTUNITY: Automatic Door Service Technician

Experienced technician for service of automatic doors. AAADM certified preferred. Ability to perform repairs/replacements of ADA operators, manual and swing doors, door closers, pivot assemblies, panic hardware, hollow metal, storefront and automatic folding, swing, sliding doors.

PROFICIENT KNOWLEDGE:

• Service of a variety of doors, equipment, and control devices
• 2+ years’ experience as an automatic door installer or service technician
• AAADM certification a plus
• Carpentry-partition framing metal/wood studs, installation of doors/windows
• Experience in commercial doors, automatic doors, door hardware, storefront doors, door closers, emergency exit devices and preventative maintenance
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Clean driving record is a must for operating company vehicles

Experience with brands like Horton, Stanley, and Assa Abloy is a plus.
