Job summary

Eppendorf in Enfield, CT is seeking an Automation/Maintenance Technician to support the manufacturing of pipette tips. You will diagnose failures, troubleshoot and repair automated workcells, and ensure safe, reliable operation on a 12-hour day shift.

You will perform preventive maintenance, quality checks, set up lines, document data, and work with Quality Assurance, Molding, and Production teams in a cleanroom environment to sustain high product quality and equipment uptime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; 3+ years operating and maintaining automated production equipment.
• Strong technical judgement and root-cause analysis skills.
• Experience with production environments and cleanroom practices.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair production equipment to restore automated workcells.
• Perform daily quality checks on pipette tips and packaging components.
• Set up, start up and optimize automated workcells and packaging lines for stable production.
• Perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs to improve reliability and reduce downtime.
• Document production, maintenance and quality data and communicate issues across teams.
