Job summary

Walmart is hiring a Maintenance Technician at our Robinson, TX facility. You will assist in repair and preventive maintenance of production equipment, support building systems, and operate material handling and other powered equipment.

You will follow safety and ethics standards, complete logs and work orders, and collaborate with teammates to meet priorities and improve processes. Benefits and weekly pay adjustments are provided.

Qualifications

• Prior work experience in a construction, industrial, production, or manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Assists other Maintenance technicians in the repair and maintenance of equipment.
• Cleans and maintains equipment tools and work areas.
• Completes work orders, records logs and other written or computerbased documents according to procedures.
• Maintains and repairs building facilities (e.g., plumbing, construction, painting).
• Operates material handling equipment, battery equipment, moving machinery and other powered equipment.
• Assists in handling and disposal of hazardous materials and waste per policy.
• Performs preventive and basic maintenance on equipment (production, lift trucks, hydraulic systems, HVAC, etc.).
• Complies with policies and standards, and collaborates with managers, coworkers, customers and partners.
