Job summary

Ladders in the United States is seeking an experienced Automated Test Engineer, Manager to lead and grow an automated testing function across application workflows and APIs, partnering with engineering and data teams to strengthen quality, support CI/CD, and guide a technical team in a fast-paced environment with exposure to AI-enabled capabilities and federal contract work.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in automated test suite development, preferably with Playwright and TypeScript
• 5+ years of experience writing and debugging test automation code in TypeScript or JavaScript
• Proficiency in writing Gherkin feature files and using Cucumber or similar BDD frameworks
• Experience deriving tests from requirements and documenting defects in an Agile environment
• U.S. Citizenship required due to federal contract requirements

For our client, we are seeking a Automated Test Engineer, Manager to join the team of a leader in the Media space.

This role will lead and grow an automated testing function that improves coverage, reduces risk, and helps ensure reliable delivery across application workflows and APIs. You will partner closely with engineering and data teams to strengthen quality practices, support CI/CD execution, and validate complex data processes. The position also offers the opportunity to guide a technical team in a fast-paced environment with exposure to AI-enabled capabilities and public sector work.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $108,476 – $184,409 annually
