Job summary

Trinity Global Consulting (TGC) seeks an experienced QA Automation Engineer to develop and maintain automated test frameworks across UI, API, and back-end layers in a US government-focused program.

This role requires active SCI clearance or top-secret eligibility, with CI polygraph potential, and a strong background in Java, Selenium/Playwright, and BDD tooling. Hybrid work with federal project exposure.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience developing automated tests using Selenium and/or Playwright.
• Experience with Cucumber (or similar BDD frameworks).
• Strong understanding of software testing phases including planning, functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Experience testing web applications across UI, service, and back-end layers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test frameworks, libraries, and tools in support of program-wide testing needs.
• Implement automated test cases across UI, API, and back-end layers to ensure system stability and reliability.
• Support integration of automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline (Jenkins, GitLab).
• Contribute to the overall testing strategy, including traceability between requirements, test cases, and results.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and document issues discovered during automated and manual testing.
• Monitor the health of the test automation framework and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure alignment of testing efforts with system requirements.
• Execute existing manual test procedures where necessary and document findings.
• Support Agile ceremonies and practices in alignment with SAFe methodologies.
• Use Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket) for documentation, source control, and tracking development activities.
