Job summary

Marquardt Group in Cazenovia, NY seeks a Test Engineer to join its Industrial Engineering team. You will design and develop automated test systems for a high-volume manufacturing facility, collaborating with Test Engineering and Product Design to shape testing strategies.

Responsibilities include creating electrical schematics, developing software in LabVIEW and TestStand, commissioning equipment, training production teams, and supporting transfer to volume production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years in computer/electronic design or diagnostic/test development in automotive electronics.
• Programming experience with LabVIEW and TestStand required.
• Experience with RF and microwave design/test techniques is desired.
• Experience with measurement techniques and process controls for yield analysis.
• Strong teamwork and ability to deliver test processes on time.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Design/Controls/Industrial Engineering to develop testing concepts.
• Create electrical schematics for test hardware interfaces using Eplan Electric.
• Develop software using LabVIEW and TestStand for test interfaces.
• Develop diagnostic and performance tests for automotive electronics products.
• Commission equipment and train production teams for volume production.
• Support development and documentation of test methods and systems.
