Job summary

LT Consulting LLC, a technology consulting firm serving government clients in Northern VA, seeks an Automated Test Engineer with an active TS/SCI clearance to strengthen our testing capabilities.

You will design, implement, and maintain automated testing frameworks for web apps, APIs, and backend services, and work with development and DevOps teams to embed testing into the CI/CD pipeline, improving quality and delivery speed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
• Active TS/SCI clearance w/ Polygraph is required.
• Experience in test automation and quality assurance.
• Proficiency with automated testing tools such as Cypress, Selenium, Playwright, or JMeter.
• Experience developing automated tests for web apps, APIs, and backend services.
• Familiarity with CI/CD integration (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Argo).
• Strong scripting or programming experience (JavaScript or Java).
• Understanding of software testing methodologies (unit, integration, regression, performance).
• Experience with Agile environments using JIRA and Confluence.

LT Consulting is seeking an Automated Test Engineer with an active TS/SCI to design, implement, and maintain automated testing frameworks that ensure the reliability and performance of mission-critical software systems. As an Automated Test Engineer, you’ll work closely with development and DevOps teams to integrate automated testing throughout the CI/CD pipeline, improving product quality and delivery speed.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance w/ Polygraph
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Demonstrated professional experience in test automation and quality assurance
• Proficiency with automated testing tools such as Cypress, Selenium, Playwright, or JMeter
• Experience developing automated tests for web applications, APIs, and backend services
• Familiarity with CI/CD integration for automated test execution (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Argo)
• Strong scripting or programming experience (JavaScript or Java)
• Understanding of software testing methodologies, including unit, integration, regression, and performance testing
• Experience working in Agile environments using JIRA and Confluence

Preferred Requirements

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Experience developing and maintaining reusable test frameworks and reporting dashboards
• Familiarity with load and performance testing tools (JMeter, k6, or Gatling)
• Familiarity with web accessibility standards
• Experience with containerized test environments (Docker, Kubernetes)
