Automated Stamping Press Operator - 2nd Shift

Join Vollrath as an Automated Stamping Press Operator - 2nd Shift.

Responsibilities

• Set, align, and secure dies; set ram stroke; perform operations such as blanking, shearing, trimming, punching, forming, drawing, extruding, etc., using complex dies (progressive, compound, cam acting, or combination).
• Set safety devices, lubrication systems, coil feeds, and support equipment.
• Convert multi-purpose dies and adapt standard setups for special requirements.
• Program and set up sensing, support equipment, and instruments for feeders, lubrication, air, part ejection, and sensors.
• Operate more than one press simultaneously when appropriate.
• Work from drawings and samples and use precision measuring instruments for self-inspection.
• Assist the supervisor with special projects and maintain general cleanliness and housekeeping.
• Display willingness to assist and train others as needed.

2nd shift includes a $0.35 shift premium.
