Job summary

Kerry in Seattle, WA is hiring a Production Operator for the Beverage division, concentrating on automated packaging of syrups and sauces. You will operate and monitor labeling equipment and contribute to quality, food safety, and sanitation programs to ensure accurate labeling and safe delivery.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and being at least 18 years old. Experience in food or chemical manufacturing (1 year) is preferred; certification to operate electric pallet

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience in food or chemical manufacturing preferred (1 year).
• Certification with electric pallet jacks and lift trucks preferred (6 months).
• Experience with inventory management, RF scanners, cycle counting, and SAP software is a plus.
• Ability to prepare, receive, and ship orders following standards.
• Strong attendance and flexibility for overtime; adherence to safety and GMPs including PPE.
• Attention to detail, math and analytical skills, and ability to work independently and in a team.
• Ability to complete required certifications and promptly report safety/quality concerns.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor automated labeling equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace following sanitation guidelines.
• Adhere to quality, food safety, and labeling standards including GMPs.
• Accurately record production and quality data.
• Identify and address equipment or product issues promptly.
• Support safety protocols and PPE requirements.
• Participate in environmental initiatives and safety programs.
• Lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
