Job summary

Kelly Services in South Windsor, CT is seeking a Machine Operator I to operate high-speed, automated equipment and support production orders to deliver printed materials. The role offers a $19.50/hr wage with weekly pay in a premier manufacturing environment.

The shift is Wednesday–Friday, 6:00 PM–6:00 AM with mandatory overtime, and training is provided to develop technical skills for handling high-speed production lines.

Qualifications

• Experience with automated manufacturing equipment is preferred.
• Ability to interpret production orders and follow instructions.
• Willingness to work the specified shift and mandatory overtime.

Responsibilities

• Operate high-speed insertion equipment and other automated machinery.
• Interpret production orders to determine job requirements.
• Maintain quality of finished products and perform preventative maintenance and repairs.
• Assemble printed materials into final products and distribute them to designated locations.
• Set up and operate computer-controlled machinery for cutting, binding, inserting, labeling, stitching, and trimming.
