Job Description:

Airbus US Manufacturing Facility is seeking an ADU Technician to join our Manufacturing department in Mobile, AL. The ADU technician provides technical and mechanical support to the ADU shop, setting and implementing Automatic Drilling Units in collaboration with the Station 40 manager.

Your working environment:

The Airbus U.S. Manufacturing Facility is located at the Mobile Aeroplex at Brookley, producing A320 Family aircraft and the A220. The facility enhances U.S. aerospace industry competitiveness and serves growing customer needs.

Your challenges:

• Set-up and implement equipment for the ADU-Shop based on best practices from other A320-Family Final Assembly Lines.
• Oversee the qualification of ADUs and support their entry into service at the FAL-USA supplier site.
• Adjust ADUs, cutting tools, and drilling templates.
• Maintain and repair ADUs regularly.
• Provide oversight and limited instruction to new equipment users.
• Support technical problem solving regarding ADUs, cutting tools, drilling templates, and test equipment.
• Demonstrate extensive mechanical knowledge related to ADU maintenance and adjustments.

Your Boarding Pass:

• Minimum 2 years experience in maintenance of ADUs, drilling templates, cutting tools, and test equipment.
• Preferred 5+ years of relevant experience.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to read computer screens, hear safety alerts, speak clearly, operate electronic equipment, lift up to 30 lbs, and stand for long periods.
• Ability to travel and walk in various environments.

Additional Information:
