Axle is seeking an Automated Cell Technologist to join the NIH NCATS facility in Rockville, MD. The role focuses on advancing translational research through cell culture, inventory management, and assay development within a DEA-compliant framework.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Biology.
• Experience with cell culture and basic molecular techniques.
• Strong documentation and data presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain active and stored cell lines per SOPs.
• Manage DEA controlled substances inventory and reporting.
• Perform compound management and QA/QC of chemical inventory.
• Train staff on laboratory equipment and SOP usage.
• Design and test assays, and assist in manuscript preparation.
• Present results in reports and at meetings.
