Job summary

The Vollrath Company is seeking an Automated Cell Operator for the 2nd shift to support the safe, efficient operation of an automated manufacturing cell. You will run presses, troubleshoot equipment, and maintain high levels of quality and productivity to meet delivery goals.

Ideal candidates have strong mechanical aptitude and enjoy working with automated machines, robotics, and laser marking systems. You will monitor uptime, perform quality checks, maintain records, and follow safety

Qualifications

Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities.
Ability to work safely around automated manufacturing equipment, presses, and robotics.
Ability to follow established safety, quality, and production procedures.
Ability to maintain accurate records and communicate issues effectively.
Mechanical aptitude test required. Candidates must score at or above the 40th percentile.

Responsibilities

Load raw materials and set up the blanking press.
Set up and operate presses within the automated cell.
Troubleshoot automated equipment and robotics.
Set up and troubleshoot laser marking equipment.
Monitor and maintain uptime across the multi-press cell.
Dress deburr wheels and perform general material handling.
Ensure raw materials, work in process, and finished products are properly handled to support production and delivery goals.
Monitor cell uptime and cycle times and report deviations from established standards.
Perform other activities as needed to support the automated cell.
