Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master/PhD in engineering or related field with several years of experience.
• Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining automated software build, packaging, and deployment systems.
• Experience with PyPI-compatible repositories, Python packaging, and build systems.
• Experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, TeamCity, Bamboo or equivalent tools.
• Experience with source control and configuration management systems (GitLab, Subversion, ClearCase, Perforce).
• Strong understanding of SDLC and controlled release practices.
• Ability to obtain and maintain DoD security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated build and release workflows.
• Develop web interfaces between build-request systems and formal SCM/build infrastructure.
• Configure and maintain agents, repositories, pipelines, scripts, and support infra.
• Integrate build workflows with SCM processes for retrieval, baselines, builds, and releases.
• Ensure logs, audit records, version info, and traceability.
• Support controlled software releases and promotions between environments.
• Establish procedures for handling build failures and rollbacks.
• Collaborate with IT to design and maintain build systems; document procedures.
