Job summary

Clean Harbors in La Porte, TX is hiring an Autoclave Technician to process medical waste using an autoclave on the second shift. Responsibilities include loading/unloading trucks, preparing loads for shipment, and maintaining inventory while ensuring strict safety practices.

We require a HS Diploma and familiarity with Excel/Word, plus 1+ years of related experience. Forklift skills are a plus; trucking within the facility may be needed. Benefits are provided after eligibility.

Job description

Clean Harbors located in La Porte, TX is seeking an Autoclave Technician.

The Autoclave Technician will be responsible for processing medical waste in the medical processing side of the facility. This includes using an autoclave.

Shift: Second Shift (2:30pm-11:00pm). Monday-Friday. OT and Saturdays as needed.

Pay: $20

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
• Operate an autoclave to process medical waste;
• Load and unload route trucks;
• Prepare waste loads for shipment to Recycle Center/Distribution Center;
