Job summary

HMT is seeking an AutoCAD Technician to translate architectural and engineering concepts into precise drawings for construction projects. You will create 2D and 3D CAD representations, collaborate with designers, and ensure compliance with project standards.

The role requires strong attention to detail, solid communication, and the ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver clear documentation and minimize field issues.

Qualifications

• Proven AutoCAD Technician experience in construction or related industry.
• Portfolio of completed drafting projects required or preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent; CAD-related certification/degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and modify detailed 2D and 3D AutoCAD drawings per project specs.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and field teams to ensure accuracy.
• Review blueprints and technical docs to produce precise digital models.
• Maintain organized drawing files and version control for stakeholders.
• Identify and resolve design discrepancies to minimize rework.
