Job summary

Jobtailor in Paramus, NJ is seeking an AutoCAD Drafter to prepare and modify detailed drawings for doors, frames, hardware, and architectural opening systems. You will develop shop drawings, elevations, sections, and installation layouts based on project specs.

You will review plans and contract documents for accuracy and code compliance, coordinate with project managers and teams, create door schedules and material take-offs, incorporate field revisions, verify dimensions, and maintain

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical certification in Drafting, Engineering Technology, Architecture, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of AutoCAD drafting experience, preferably in construction, architectural products, commercial doors and hardware, or building products.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with SolidWorks a plus.
• Previous experience reading blueprints, shop drawings or engineering drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
