Tectonic's Orange County, NY Corporate Office is seeking an experienced full-time Survey AutoCAD Technician to join our Land Surveying Department in New York’s Hudson Valley.

You will draft survey maps, including boundary and topographic surveys, and integrate field data, notes, and sketches into accurate CAD drawings.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of AutoCAD drafting for land surveying and civil projects, with AutoCAD 2024+ proficiency and good communication.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive AutoCAD drafting experience for Land Surveying and Civil Engineering.
• Experience preparing boundary and topographic survey drawings and related deliverables.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD 2024+ and point cloud data.
• Ability to interpret survey field data and integrate notes into drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Reduce survey field data, photographs, and sketches to develop detailed CAD survey plans.
• Prepare boundary and topographic surveys, plans, profiles, cross sections, and related deliverables.
• Coordinate with Project Managers and Surveyors to modify drawings per specifications.
• Print, copy, scan, and organize CAD drawings; occasional site visits.
