All Systems Electrical, Inc. is seeking an AutoCAD Electrical Designer / Control Panel Drafter with experience in creating detailed UL508A industrial control panel drawings and documentation. This role focuses on producing accurate layouts, wiring schematics, and bills of materials for manufacturing — not programming or software development.

You’ll work on-site in our Rocklin office, collaborating closely with engineers, production, and purchasing to ensure every panel design is code-compliant, build-ready, and clearly documented.

Key Responsibilities

• Create control panel layouts and wiring schematics using AutoCAD Electrical
• Design in accordance with UL508A, NEC, and customer specifications
• Interpret one-lines, P&IDs, and other engineering documents
• Specify components and generate bills of materials
• Coordinate with production and purchasing to maintain design accuracy and cost-effectiveness
• Revise drawings based on feedback from customers or internal teams

What You Bring

• 3+ years of experience in AutoCAD Electrical drafting or industrial control panel design
• Strong understanding of UL508A and NEC standards
• Familiarity with components such as breakers, relays, terminal blocks, PLC hardware, and VFDs
• Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an office/shop environment
• Must be based near Rocklin, CA and available to work on-site
