Job summary

East Coast Metal Systems, Inc. in Triadelphia, WV, a division of Kalkreuth Roofing & Sheet Metal, is seeking a CAD Drafter to prepare shop drawings and submittal packages for metal panel projects.

You will measure fields, read design drawings, coordinate with engineers and project managers, and develop AutoCAD skills in a fast-paced environment. The role offers a competitive salary with benefits and on-site work.

Qualifications

• 2-year AutoCAD degree or equivalent AutoCAD experience.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Preparation of shop drawings and submittal packages
• Field measuring and drawing development based on measurements
• Communication with Engineers and Project Managers
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• 2-year AutoCAD degree or equivalent AutoCAD experience
• Ability to read design drawings
• Eagerness to grow and learn about the construction and manufacturing industry
• Eagerness to develop AutoCAD skills
• Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills
• Excellent communication skills; both internal and external
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment

Preferred Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience producing shop drawings for metal panels or curtain wall (or similar experience producing Architectural Drawings)
• Experience reading construction project specifications Knowledge of the construction industry and building codes
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
