Job summary

Creative Modular Construction (CMC) is seeking a Manufacturing Draftsman to support fabrication and production through drafting, project coordination, and technical development. Proficiency in AutoCAD and strong organizational skills are essential in our fast-paced modular construction environment.

You will develop submittals, create CAD drawings for CNC fabrication, assist with takeoffs and value engineering, and collaborate with project managers, estimators, and operations teams to keep

Qualifications

• Proficiency in AutoCAD is required.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 apps (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams) is expected.
• Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail are essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop submittals for client approval per project scope.
• Create CAD drawings and electronic files for CNC fabrication.
• Assist with estimating takeoffs, mockup development, quality analysis, and value engineering.
• Maintain project schedules, documents, data, and organized project files.
• Assist in the preparation of architectural drawings for building materials and systems.
• Collaborate with project managers, estimators, operations teams, and fabrication personnel.
• Attend scheduled project management, estimating, and operations meetings as requested.
• Support development of new ideas, products, and process improvements.
