Northeast Missouri Electric Power Cooperative in Palmyra, MO is seeking an Engineering Drafting Technician to prepare and maintain drawings for electric utility infrastructure, including transmission and substations.

You will use AutoCAD and PLSCADD, support engineering projects, and help ensure accuracy and compliance. The position is full-time, on-site, with benefits including medical, retirement plans and paid holidays.

Qualifications

• Two years of CADD/drafting experience required.
• Ability to read technical drawings and legal property descriptions.
• Strong attention to detail and document management skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain drawings, maps and records for electric utility infrastructure.
• Support drafting, design and documentation for transmission and substation projects.
• Update and organize project drawings as designs progress.
• Gather, analyze engineering data for studies and reports.
• Assist with equipment specs and material bills of quantity.
• Maintain drafting standards and NERC compliance documentation.
• Communicate progress and potential issues to the Engineering Manager.
