Job summary

Gem Care Recruiting & Staffing in Wilmington, NC is seeking an experienced CAD Drafter to join our Engineering team. This direct hire role pays $20.00 to $22.00 per hour and runs 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM with occasional overtime.

You will draft architectural layouts and designs from customer specs using AutoCAD, review requirements, and generate detailed drawings. Candidates with experience in architectural layout, annotative scale, and weld symbol knowledge are preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in related field is required.
• 4+ years of drafting experience with AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Draft architectural layouts and designs from customer specifications using AutoCAD.
• Review customer specifications and convert them into detailed drawings.

Starting pay range is $20.00 to $22.00 per hour. Shift hours are 8:00 AM until 5:30 PM with occasional overtime.
