Job Description

AutoCAD Drafter with experience in civil drafting. Will be responsible for creating detailed plans for permit approval for installation of underground fiber optic conduits and/or aerial installation.

Position Location: Fresno, CA.

Responsibilities:

1. Create 2D AutoCAD Permit/Construction Plans for installation of fiber optic facilities from Google Earth KMZ files or hand sketch drawings.
2. Develop building entry details for running fiber optic cable inside the customer’s property.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in AutoCAD, AutoCAD Map 3D, or Civil 3D.
• Experience in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Google Earth Pro.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to submit completed plans in a timely manner with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency with ESRI ArcMap is a plus.

Education:

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of experience with AutoCAD, AutoCAD Map 3D, or Civil 3D.
