Job summary

Dexian seeks a skilled draftsman to convert rough sketches and engineering concepts into precise 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD. The role supports construction, manufacturing, and engineering projects across multiple locations.

You will translate hand sketches and redlines into final documents, update drawings per feedback, and collaborate with engineers, PMs, and field crews to ensure practical designs while maintaining organized drawing libraries.

Qualifications

• Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand basic engineering measurements.
• Ability to follow applicable industry standards.
• Associate degree in Drafting, Engineering Design, or a related technical field, or equivalent hands-on experience

Responsibilities

• Create detailed plans, layouts, and cross-sections using AutoCAD.
• Translate rough hand sketches, redlines, or verbal directions from engineers and architects into final visual documents.
• Update existing drawings based on client feedback, test results, or team redlines.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and construction crews to ensure designs are practical and accurate.
• Organize, label, and maintain digital drawing libraries and project records.
