Cox Automotive’s Manheim Phoenix facility is hiring an Automotive Technician II. Perform advanced diagnostics, repairs, maintenance and inspections across a variety of vehicles, focusing on medium-duty work.

You will diagnose brakes, tires, suspension, electrical systems, and perform comprehensive inspections while ensuring safety and environmental compliance. A valid driver’s license and ASE certifications are required; sign-on bonus available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 3 years of related work experience; or any degree or certification above a high school diploma/GED with one year of related work experience; or 5 years of related work experience without a degree.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Current ASE Certification: G1, A4, A5, A6, A7, A8.

Responsibilities

• Perform medium-duty auto technician work.
• Conduct maintenance and repairs across vehicle systems.
• Diagnose mechanical and drivability issues including brakes, tires, suspension and related components.
• Perform advanced diagnostics across systems including starting/charging, AC, OBDII and electrical.
• Complete detailed inspections and document deficiencies across interior, exterior, engine and driveline components.
• Maintain compliance with safety and environmental standards and upfit new vehicles with required equipment.

We’re hiring an Automotive Technician II to perform advanced diagnostics, repairs, maintenance and inspections across a variety of vehicles at our Manheim Phoenix.

What You’ll Do

• You’ll put your skills to work as a mid-level auto technician performing medium-duty work.
• Performe highly skilled maintenance and repairs across a wide range of vehicle systems.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and drivability issues, including brakes, tires, suspension and related components.
• Conduct advanced diagnostics and repairs across key systems, including starting and charging, AC, OBDII and electrical systems.
• Complete detailed mechanical inspections, including required measurements, and document any deficiencies across interior, exterior, engine and driveline components.
• Maintain compliance with safety and environmental standards, including proper handling of recyclables, fluids, tires and waste.
• Assist with upfitting new vehicles with required equipment.
• Source and manage parts through approved vendors.
• Support additional service needs, including OEM recall work as required.
