Job summary

The Ed Napleton Automotive Group seeks a Journeyman Technician at Napleton's Elmhurst Acura/KIA in Elmhurst, IL. You will diagnose and repair vehicles to dealer and factory standards, building customer trust through transparent, quality service.

We offer a potential pay range of $22-$48.15 per hour based on experience, incentive-based pay, paid training, manufacturer certifications, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401k, paid vacation, and career advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Journeyman Technician.
• Ideal candidate is a self-starter who is process-driven.
• Willingness to undergo a background check as per local law/regulations.
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with company driving policy.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications—brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
• Clearly explain technical diagnosis and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals as required.
• Continuously update technical skills through formal training sessions to stay current with automotive technology.
• Keep store management informed of mechanical repair problems as they occur.
• Maintain an organized and neat service bay.
