AutoNation, America’s largest automotive retailer, is hiring a Skilled Technician. You will perform repairs and maintenance to dealership and factory standards, communicate with service teams, diagnose issues, and provide safety-focused inspections.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of automotive technician experience.
• Automotive technical training (store needs varies).
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Valid in-state driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Performing vehicle repair and/or maintenance per repair order to factory standards.
• Communicate with Parts Department and Service Advisors to manage production and customer communication.
• Diagnose malfunctions and perform repair as authorized by the Customer.
• Conduct multi-point inspections and provide safety/reliability recommendations.
• Document work performed on the repair order.
• Maintain an inventory of special tools not normally inventoried by service.
• Keep up with factory bulletins and training opportunities.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty.
