Job summary

Napleton Automotive Group in Indianapolis is seeking a C-Level Automotive Technician to maintain vehicles to dealer and factory standards, ensuring safety and reliability for customers.

Qualifications

• Automotive technical training or hands-on lube/tech experience.
• Ability to follow dealer and factory standards.
• Willingness to undergo a background check.

Responsibilities

• Complete vehicle inspections.
• Check and communicate oil level with team.
• Ensure tire pressure and proper inflation.
• Perform wheel alignments.
• Inspect and refill fluids as needed.
• Install oil drain plug and filter.
• Lubricate fittings and replace batteries as needed.
• Replace radiators and exhaust components.
• Carry out manufacturer recalls not requiring diagnostics.
• Keep the service center clean and presentable.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Job Responsibilities:

• Complete vehicle inspection
• Check and communicate oil level to other teammates
• Ensure tire pressure for proper inflation
• Perform wheel alignments
• Inspect and refill fluid levels as necessary
• Install a new oil drain plug and a new oil filter
• Clean and lubricate fittings as needed
• Clean and replace batteries
• Replace or repair exhaust system
• Remove and reinstall brake drums and/or brake shoes
• Replace Radiators
• Perform Manufacturer recalls that do not require diagnostic equipment
• Ensure that the service center is clean and presentable
• Other duties as assigned by management

Job Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Automotive technical training or experience as a lube tech, or technician assistant
• Valid in-state driver’s license and clean driving record
• Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local law/regulations
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy
